By accessing or using Korekt ("Service"), provided by Korekt, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users of the Service, including organizations, administrators, and individual contributors.
2. Description of Service
Korekt is an AI-powered code review platform that:
- Analyzes pull requests and code changes using artificial intelligence
- Provides automated code quality feedback and issue detection
- Integrates with version control systems (GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps)
- Connects with issue tracking systems (JIRA, Azure Boards)
- Generates team analytics and contributor metrics
3. User Accounts
To use Korekt, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Ensuring that your use complies with your organization's policies
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Korekt to:
- Submit malicious code, malware, or code designed to harm systems
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
- Submit code you do not have the right to analyze
- Abuse, harass, or harm other users
- Circumvent any usage limits or access controls
5. Intellectual Property
Your Code: You retain all ownership rights to the code you submit to Korekt. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your code. Your code is processed solely to provide the Service and is not used to train AI models.
Our Service: The Korekt platform, including its software, design, features, and documentation, is owned by Korekt, Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.
Feedback: If you provide feedback or suggestions about the Service, we may use them without obligation to you.
6. Third-Party Integrations
Korekt integrates with third-party services (GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, JIRA, Azure Boards). Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms of service.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and permissions to connect your repositories and issue tracking systems to Korekt.
7. Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Korekt, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim
- We are not liable for any damages resulting from code analysis errors, missed issues, or false positives
- We are not liable for any damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Korekt, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Code you submit to the Service
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification).
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
Your continued use of Korekt after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Miscellaneous
- Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Korekt, Inc. regarding the Service.
- Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
- Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver.
- Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
